One of my favourite things about digital delays like the lexicon prime time and DFX9 is the fact that once a sound is in the buffer, you can adjust the time knob to alter the pitch. This almost works on the Timefactor when in tapeecho mode, but it always snaps back to the original pitch after a few moments. Obviously when hold is not engaged, it makes sense for it to snap back to pitch. But when held, wouldn’t it be more fun to allow the pitch of the buffer contents to be modified without the timestretch algo getting in the way? And to allow the buffer to be ‘refilled’ by whatever you’re actually hearing when you release and reengage the hold button? Looper mode gets me close to this but it’s far less fun and spontaneous.

Anyone know what I’m talking about? Would be great to see an option for this at some point.
