Timefactor with boss FS-5U Tap tempo issue

I have added a boss FS-5U as an “aux switch” for tap the tempo and I have an issue

In the Aux SW settings I have set the tap to T+R all other AUX SW settings are set blank.

Still when I’m in bank mode the tap function still doesn’t work, for some presets when I press the FS-5u it alters FBK from 0 to 39

Could this be some other setting other than in the aux switch menu?

Does anyone know how to fix this?

There are a number of default settings for many presets. If you encounter this sort of pronlem, go through the settings, and remove the ones you don't want.

This comes from an (incorrect ?) design decision we made years ago that allow multiple uses for a given control source. Sorry – as you can tell, I am not happy with it either.
