ModeratorEventide StaffHi-
Yes, it is on our to-do list to implement all of our plug-ins in VST3 format, as well as adding sidechain capability to the applicable VST2 versions. Unfortunately, we currently have higher priorities, so I'm afraid I can't say when it will be available.

ParticipantAny news on this, sidechain in the VST version would make it so much more useful.

ParticipantHi,
I would like just to add that I am probably one of many crossing fingers for implementation of side-chain capability in VST version of Eventide plugins 🙂

ParticipantDo you know what the eta is?
I want to time capsule my Windows 7 machine and this plugin is on the list. I want time to test everything before the machine goes offline FOREVER.

Hey yes, I know how to do a side-chain in Cubase, I’m wondering why it still hasn’t been implemented directly in the plugin Ultrachannel.

Trouble is that video is sidechaining VST3, not VST2.
It must be possible to do it – Reaper & Studio one 4 both sidechain VST2 plugins…..

ModeratorEventide StaffHi-
It is implemented in the current VST2, it's just hard to set up in Cubase.
VST3 support will make the sidechain more directly available.
