Ultratap firmware – what’s in it?

Howdy. I just purchased a used Ultratap and hooked it up to EDM and it bumped up the firmware significantly, from 1.x something to the latest 2.x.

I looked for release notes and didn’t find any. Does this update (or prior updates) add or change any features that I might want to know about?

Maybe I’ll throw in a feature request: it’d be cool if the delay taps could be randomly scattered around the stereo field instead of ping-ponging as they do now. Or if you could adjust the stereo width. Although it doesn’t seem excessively hard-panned at present.

The latest firmware for UltraTap allows you to use H90 Control instead of EDM.

This is a big improvement for the software editor app as it allows bidirectional control of the parameter adjustments.

Thanks for your feature request. I’m not sure if we’d be able to add a stereo width adjustment on the dot9 version of UltraTap due to the limited amount of parameters, but the H90 version of the algorithm does feature a Width control.
