Update Utility does not find TimeFactor

Hello,

I'm trying to run the update utility, but the device is not found when the updater searches for devices.

I've tried several things:

Putting the TF in update mode (it says "update" on the billboard).

Not putting the TF in update mode. 

Connecting the device to the USB before starting the updater.

Connecting the device to the USB after starting the updater.

Uninstalling the device from the windows device manager and re-installing.

Re-booting.

The update utility says "searching for MIDI devices."  Is that o.k.? should it be looking for USB devices?

How do I know what version of the firmware is currently running?

Hi Mike, does your device come up as a usb midi device in Windows device manager?

No,  all I saw in the device manager was "USB composite device."

Just a note to let you know that this problem is solved.  

The bottom line is that it was the PC and not the TimeFactor.  I tried it on a PC at work and the update was successful.
