updating 5.5 to 5.6 from CF Card

        I have put the downloaded folder of 5.6 Mac/Windows of my CF Card in the H8000 folder – when i restart it does not upgrade. Do I have to push a key whle starting? I also tried with the update folder outside the H8000 folder but it did not upgrade on rebooting. which files do i need for mac?

          You should follow the instruction on the Web Site under "How to Update Eventide Rackmount Audio Units"

          Put the downloaded files in the root directory (update folder outside the H8000 folder). The H8000 folder is just for saved programs.

            there is a .bat /.BIM /.exe / .bam / .bin files but no zip – i cant open any of these . . .

              i followed your instructions and viola 5.6 is installed. sorry for being so dense. lol
