I haven't received my Timefactor yet but I'm already thinking of ways to use it to it's full potential.

I have a midi controller("Digitech Control Seven" I believe) that has footswitches only.

It has five switches plus the bank switches.  Can I assign all five presets without switching banks?

Or  do I have to program in banks of two, which would make an external control useless?

You'll need to contact Digitech for information on using their controller (can't find it on their Web Site).

But, assuming it sends MIDI Program Change, you can use the TF's MIDI Map capability to load any presets. The banks will not be a problem for you – they are mainly away of giving you immediate footswitch access to 2 presets, and will not get in your way for remote control.
