Uninstalling a Plugin

Apple Computers

On Macintosh computers, deleting the following files is all that is required for uninstalling a plug-in.

AAX:/Library/Application Support/Avid/Audio/Plug-Ins/Eventide/[plug-in name].aaxplugin
AU:/Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/Components/[plug-in name].component
VST:/Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/VST/Eventide/[plug-in name].vst
Presets:Mac HD/Users/[user name]/Music/Eventide/[plug-in name]/

Windows

On Windows computers, uninstall the plug-in by running the plug-in uninstaller:

  1. Go to Start Menu → Control Panel → Programs and Features → Uninstall a Program
  2. Find the plug-in or plug-in bundle in the list, right-click and choose “Uninstall/Change”

If there is no plug-in uninstaller (i.e. you have an older version of the plug-in), delete the following files:

AAX32:C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Avid\Audio\Plug-Ins\Eventide\[plug-in name].aaxplugin
AAX64:C:\Program Files\Common Files\Avid\Audio\Plug-Ins\Eventide\[plug-in name].aaxplugin
VST32:C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Steinberg\VST2\Eventide\[plug-in name].dll
VST64:C:\Program Files\Common Files\Steinberg\VST2\Eventide\[plug-in name].dll
Presets:C:\Users\[Username]\My Documents\Eventide\[plug-in name]\Presets
