I am searching for a resonant low-pass filter in the H90 and I found the Filter with sweepable cutoff in the Polysynth algorithm.

It sounds just perfect, has a very good and controllable sweep spot via Expression pedal and is just perfectly tweakable with all its parameters.

The problem is that the filter is assigned to the synth part only.

Is there a workaround or a way to put this filter or an equivalent filter on the dry signal?

(A fully funktional Filter modulation algorithm)

The feature is there! It is just not assignable the way many of us would like to have it 😀

PolySynth is a magnificent synth implementation, one the best of its type I’ve tried.  That filter & envelope follower play a huge part in that.  I guess the ‘workaround’ for now might be putting PolySynth in a Parallel routing with another algo.  With maybe unison Triangle waveforms to help disguise the synthy part.

I don’t know that any of the other algorithms present such a strong filter presence, and with that deep of a feature set. I can see the potential for that getting re-purposed in some future offering.

But you can try out a few others in the meantime, geared more toward a clean auto-wah effect:

The H9 Max had just some algos with low pass filters. i used only the cutoff from these .was perfect. but it seems the h90 doesnt have that. i dont know why.
Any chance it get added in the future?

The H90 has ALL the H9 Max algos and then about 15 more besides, so that can’t be right…

Seconding the request for a pure H90 Filter algorithm: Stereo (with L/R offset amount), Low Pass, Band Pass, Notch, High Pass, dB per octave choices, Resonance, Drive, Envelope Follower, LFO etc. Would be usable in so many ways.

i think you are right, but i tried for the last two days to get a algo with just  a low pass filter at 100 Hz without any other sound modulation. I cannot remember which H9 Max algo i used back then (when i had the H9 Max), but it really was easy, so much i remember, to get a LowPass sound. but as far as i know i tried all the H9 Max algos available in the H90 so far.

Looked into the h90 documentation, searching for the algo.

      Page 102/103 EQ Compressor.
On page 103 The Factory presets list these:

      Factory Presets:

      • AcousticElec
        Balls
        Basonex
        BassPre2
        BassPre3
        BassPre4
        BassyBass
        Bootyshaker
        Bright
        DiscoGuit
        DubBass
        Flat EQ
        FunkGuit
        Fuzz Conditioning
        JCMtoMetal
        JazGuitar
        Leo to Les
        Les to Leo
        Mountain1
        ParkedWah
        PaulsBass1
        PaulsBass2
        SM58Enhancer
        SlapBass1
        SlapBass2
        SweetHome
        SweetVocal
        Telephony
        VocalPresence
        Walkingbass
        Walkingbass 2

But most of them arent in the preset factory or algo list. Searched the list using the h90 controll application.

Is there something i am missing in understanding this?

Can someone help me understanding pls?
      Thank you.
