Don't know anything about Helix, so you must talk to line6 about that.
To remotely control parameters on Eclipse you should read the "External Controllers" section starting on p.45 in the UM, as well as the sections on Parameters and Hot Keys. You ca, in general, use any CC you want (avoid CC #0).
