Which brings me to my next question: In order to setup a static IP address in my router, I would need to know the MAC address of my H9000R. However, I have no idea how to do that as it doesn't appear anywhere in Emote?
Hmm, it would be a good idea for us to include this information in the Devices page in emote.
In the meantime, here's a workaround you can use if you are on a Mac. (I don't know offhand if Windows has a commnad line arp tool). You can use arp to find the MAC address at the Terminal command line. You need to ping the H9000 first so the address will be put into the ARP cache, then use arp to find the mapping. For example:
$ ping 192.168.33.168
… hit Ctrl-C …
$ arp 192.168.33.168
? (192.168.33.168) at 0:4:a3:6e:b0:2d on en0 ifscope [ethernet]
So the MAC address is 0:4:a3:6e:b0:2d
