i think there would be so many different use cases for these additions..
i would love 8 more ins AND 8 more outs (both over DSUB..) and don’t currently have much use for preamps built in.. or TRS inputs.. (although a card with 2, 4, or 8 TRS/XLR combo jacks WITH preamps built in could be pretty appealing to many) ((8 might be a stretch though..))
maybe different cards could be offered – kinda like apogee does with symphony… so you’d be able to pick from a few options that best suited your needs..
i’ve looked into some of the RME stuff for this exact reason (more ins/out..) over MADI.. but, i’ll wait it out if i knew what was (and wasn’t coming..) from eventide!
still happily using the H9000 everyday (and orville, as well..)
