was recently remembering eventide saying that as more powerful processors became available, it would be easy to upgrade / swap them out.
i was imagining that with the i/o that dante / madi offers it would be pretty easy to take advantage of being able to add more algorithms to each effects chain..
it looks like the 4×4 (in each effects chain..) could handle 16 algorithms total.. imagine 64 algorithms across 4 effects chains?!?
i wonder if these processor upgrades do become a reality if we’d be able to upgrade just one at a time, or if all four would have to be matched??
