I have spoken to MOTU and their UK distributor. There are only two MADI AVB interfaces they sell – The M64 and 112D. I don’t really need the 112D as that also has 24 channels of AES and 24 channels of ADAT which I am not going to use. The reason they can’t sell me a brand new M64 is MOTU are still waiting on getting parts to build the M64 MADI AVB interface.
I don’t have another DAW to test.
If Eventide won’t do an AVB card, what about a Thunderbolt 4 expansion card with two Thunderbolt 4/USB4 ports? This would allow the H9000 to be used in a Thunderbolt daisy chain.
