I have noticed there is no limiter algorithm on the H9000. I wanted to compress and limit some drum tracks so that the output is as loud as possible no matter how hard or soft the input. Sure enough, I have a plugin for that, but I want to comp+limit using the insert points of my MOTU 10pre audio interface and the analog XLR’s of the H9000. That way, I am not overloading the 10pre’s inputs with sudden peaks.

Additionally, it would be nice if the meters in the algorithms had colour rather than black, grey and white. When it comes to H9 algorithms especially, the alphanumeric parameters and values are in black. They should be brighter, making it easier to read them against a red/purple/blue/green/grey background. Is this not already available in Vsig? If not, it should be.

Have you tried the Omnipressor algorithm? If you turn the function knob clockwise from 0, this will start at lower compression values and eventually get to an infinite ratio for limiting. The Omnipressor is very capable of a wide range of dynamics processing techniques, so I would suggest giving this a shot on the H9000.

There are currently no settings to change the color of the text but this is a good request for the H9 algorithms. Thanks for the feedback.
