I'm trying to emulate an Empirical Labs Distressor, so that no matter how loud or quiet the source, it remains a constant volume level. The source is either a vocal or synth. My meters may show a constant level, but I can hear chords being louder than single notes. The Eclipse is inserted into my Audient ASP880 mic preamp. Any advice please.
