Can’t turn the gate off

Disaster!

I was programming a patch (Stereoshift -> Dualgate). While I was twiddling around with different threshold settings and the like, the Eventide froze, and wouldn't respond to either keypad commands or MIDI commands. So, I turned it off.

The unit happily reset, but unfortunately, the gate that I had programmed won't turn off. It is present on all my patches. It is present on all factory patches.

How do I turn the darn thing off?

 Which OS version is the unit running on?

Try a CLEAR SETUP. Power the unit on pressing and holding the SETUP key. After loading the system, the unit will ask to return to factory defaults. Press YES.
