I'm getting check sum errors and some other erratic behavior (lost my presets, can't reload them) even after doing all the fixes recommended in the owner's manual.  I'm guessing my battery is going bad.  Is this something I can change myself, or do I need a qualifed tech to do this?

      Please refer to http://forum.eventide.com/cs/forums/t/5312.aspx

      It's a BR2330:

I swapped mine out in five minutes, and I ain't that adept.

      Easy to change!

First I would back up any presets of yours, if you have any, on a card.

Unplug the unit from the wall power socket and let it stay half an hour…then proceed to opening the top w/a screwdriver.

You'll see the bottom battery that needs replacing.

      best
