      Yes. Channels tgat are not routed to effects can be used for direct I/O so that you can take advantage of the eight channels of A to D and D to A and route to USB audio or ADAT for instance.

      Can I set the H9000 so that some of the audio inputs /outputs are set to Direct I/O whilst others are used for effects?

      Yes.
