        I purchased a new sandisk adapter for compactflash to pcmcia adapter. i used a 1 GB Sandisk compact flash card. When I popped it into the DSP7000 it recognized it, asked to format it and reported that it was unwriteable although no write protect exists. What is the correct card/type/size I should be using please?

          Hi Mike

          as I already explained in my reply to your post "Update error DSP7000" on April 20 (http://forum.eventide.com/cs/forums/t/6324.aspx)

          the DSP7000 *DOES NOT* support Compact Flash cards and their Pcmcia adaptors. You must use PCMCIA cards, max 4 GB. This is an older memory standard, available from computers companies.

          The manual has full indo & details on them.

            with or without attribute memory?

              Attribute memory not required. Note that these must be SRAM PCMCIA cards. ATA or Flash cards are not supported.
