EVE/NET as performance controller?

Is it possible to assign the 8 knobs to different screens + A/B programs 

to have the EVE/NET work more as a performance controller than just

an editor?  

I too have found Midi to be sluggish or to limited in resolution to handle

simple things like automating the tape flanger… I hear very noticeable 

stepping.  

I'm certain the ethernet would respond much better, but I don't want

to be limited to one screen of control.

The 8 knobs can only be used on the current screen. Sorry. Their push buttons can be used as programmable remotes (see Eve/Net UM).

Eve/Net uses a proprietary protocol rather than Ethernet. It is 20-30 times faster than MIDI.
