H7600 Midi In Port, (7-pin)

"– The connector is 7 pin.  It can also send MIDI messages from this 

connector to a suitably equipped system. –"

I would like to know the pinouts of the 7-pin Midi In socket and does it provide a dc-power like the Eclipse?

Oops – this will be from an old text. Sorry.

The 7600 does have a 7 pin MIDI in, but there is no way to get to the extra pins – there's not room on the motherboard for the extra sockets.

OK, I understand no power. Is there still Midi going in/out on the 7-pin?

Would like to build a 2-way cable for my controller.

There is MIDI in and out on the 7 pin.

The 2 power lines are connected to  2 testpoints on the motherboard, to the right of the 2 relays to the left of the MIDI sockets – labeled MIDIPWR and MIDIGND. Note that  their use is not supported, so I can't tell you anything more than this.
