      Hello,

I'm considering the H7600 as an FX processor for my Mesa Boogie Road King's series FX loop. It's an unbalanced fx loop. On the Lexicon processors, you can set the Input and Output operating levels to -10 or +4. How do you accomplish this with the Eventide? Thanks!

       Hi Armando

we use XLRs for balanced and unbalanced +4 line levels. You'll need cables wired as balanced on the XLRs side to unbalanced to the 1/4" side.

You may want to check out Technotes here, for further detailed info:

      all the best

Yes, I realize this but is there a way to set the machine for -10 operation or is it fixed at +4 only?

Eventides do not need -10/+4dB switching. The difference is handled by the type of connector used. If you connect to the XLR inputs you'll have a +4dB properly matched impedance…connecting to the 1/4" inputs will match -10dB levels.

It's just a matter of cables/connectors and wiring.

      best
