       ????

      Depends on:

      -what you need to do

-what presets you want to use?

-how is your rig configured (mono/stereo/quad/5.1)?

again, it depends on the points I asked in my previous reply to you.

How could you use a 5.1 preset if you don't have a 5.1 speakers setup?

You have to get familiar with the ROUTING power of the H8000 first.

If you have a stereo setup, there is no way you can use quad, multichannel and 5.1 presets. You should only use preset with "22" (2 I/OS) in their names, as the others are meant to be used in a multichannel audio setup.

Stereo is your best option at the moment.

       Hi ID,

I mine so is not a difference if i use 2 in 2 out or 4 in 4 out.

I can configure it inside H8000?

the unit has 2 DSPs. It's very important you decide how you want to route them in your stereo setup:

      SERIES

      A>B

you then use 2 inputs and 2 outputs to connect to the rig.

Anything loaded in A will also be processed by B.

      PARALLEL

      A//B

you can use 2 inputs and 2 outputs and configure routing internally, in the H8000.

or you can use 4 I/Os, assigning 2 to DSP A and the other 2 to DSP B. This is a more versatile setup but requires an external mixer/router to properly manage 4 channels in a stereo setup.
