H8000FW Ableton Live 10

Hi fellow users,

 

I have an H8000FW box and am trying to use it within Ableton Live 10. I got as far as setting up an aggregate device to include all of the Apollo 16 and H8000’s i/o, but I’m just not sure how to use it beyond that.

The instructions only speak of integration with Logic.

I wish to be able to send things from Ableton to the H8000, affect it, and be able to bring it back into Ableton to print or monitor. Seems straight forward, but I can’t figure it out.

All I have connected is simply a firewire cable. Unsure if I need to make any analog connections.

Any help is appreciated.

You don't even say what computer you are using. Tough to help.

But, when you mention aggregate devices, it suggests that you are talking about some kind of Mac.

Try creating the aggregate device as described for Logic. Then, go into Ableton and try and connect to it. If you cannot, you should go to Ableton support for more help.

All we can do is help you create the device – how you use it is beyond our control or knowledge.
