h8000fw eventide old outboard effects ???

Whats the point to hold h8000fw if you don’t have presets of eventide old outboard effects

Like Instant Flanger, Instant Phaser and omnipressor.

Instead I have to buy the TDM plug-in to have this sound.

What’s the point???

The point is that it has 1500 presets of new effects. Including Omnipressor. And many flanger and phasers.

If you only want the old effects, and you have TDM, the plugins might well be a better idea.

did you hear the phaser or the flanger  TDM version??and then compare it to h8000 presets

to my ear they sounds different.

They are different – the TDM versions are intended so look like and sound like the original 60's equipment.

The H8000 is different, but offers much more, unless ALL you need is the old equipment..

Like I said, it depends on what you want. Horses for courses.

when it comes to studio it's fine you can have the TDM plugins and the H8000fw

use them on MIX ,REC etc….

BUT what you can do if you want to use it on Live Stage and you have only the H8000fw

i'm shure eventide can fix (not big deal for eventide) it it's only 3 patches .

Why not use the free Vsig program and modify/create your own patches that sould like the old stuff??

I would gladly trade you an instant phaser, omnipressor and instant flanger for your HW8000
