Hello everyone, I use the H8000FW with analog ins/outs. So i use it with 2 stereos lines. It makes sense as the H8000FW has two DSP. But i am wondering what options would i get if i use the Subd25 AES ins/outs to get more channels available ? It still is a 2 DSP Machine, so why is there more chanel available for 2 DSP “only”. I don’t know if i am clear, but my question is what kind of utility do you guys have when you use the H8000FW as 8 channel for example. Thank you.

Each DSP has 8 inputs and 8 outputs. Do not confuse the physical inputs/outputs with the DSP inputs/outputs, they are not necessarily the same. Depending on how much computation power an algorithm demands, it’s possible to load more or less algorithms within an DSP. An 8 channel operation would be, for instance:

      Analog Inputs / Outputs 1, 2, 3, 4

      ADAT Inputs / Outputs 5, 6, 7, 8
