      Hello!

      I'm new to the forum and this is also my first experience with the h8000fw. 

      Here's the problem:  I'm trying to update my new unit (purchased in December of 2012) to the new v5.5 software.  However, the installation is getting held up by something and it won't complete the install.

      It just says "Installing Eventide Dice Driver" and "Waiting for other installations to complete."

      Here's some of my system info:

        Model Name:    iMac
        Model Identifier:    iMac12,2
        Processor Name:    Intel Core i7
        Processor Speed:    3.4 GHz

       System Version:    Mac OS X 10.7.5 (11G63b)
        Kernel Version:    Darwin 11.4.2
        Boot Volume:    Macintosh HD
        Boot Mode:    Normal
        Secure Virtual Memory:    Enabled
        64-bit Kernel and Extensions:    Yes

      The Eventide is powered off btw.

      The name of the file I downloaded from the Eventide Website (and that I'm now trying to instal) is:

      V5.5 Driver for Mac OSX

      LLastly, here's a picture of what I'm experience.

      Hi – 5.5 is now quite old and only supports up to Snow Leopard (see release notes), so 10.7 might be problematical.

      We'll shortly be releasing 5.6, which handles Lion and Mountain Lion. I would suggest that you try the V5.6B3 drivers from the Web Site.
