h9000 dante bridge to pthd?

Hi Ive gota h9000 with pthd card and I was wondering if the addition of the dante card would function as a dante bridge into protools? Just wanted confirmation prior to ordering. Thanks!

Hello,

Yes, using the Direct I/O page you can directly patch any input to any output, so in your case you can patch all of your Dante outputs to your Pro Tools HD inputs. More information can be found here: https://cdn.eventideaudio.com/manuals/h9000/2.0/content/emote/views/directIO_view.html

Thanks for the confirmation. I read that bit in the manual about routing any input to any output but I guess I’m used to avid throwing their own limitations into the mix. I guess I’m a skeptic!
