I feel like I’m *very, very* close. H9000 + Apollo x8p as an aggregate device, OSX 10.13. Apollo is master word clock, ADAT connection active but additional preamp disconnected for testing purposes. I am having difficulty routing USB audio (all sample rates match).

So far, it only seems to work when I route USB output to ADAT input. I could probably live with that, but I never print effects; I prefer to apply them during mixdown, but the mixdown doesn’t get the effect. Logic’s I/O plug-in doesn’t see the H9000’s USB ins / outs, Emote doesn’t print to the mixdown and I don’t see anything in the manual or on YouTube which addresses USB directly. While I have available analog inputs, I’d prefer to keep the H9000 within the digital domain.

I am likely overlooking something very simple, any insight would be highly appreciated.

If Logic’s I/O plug-in doesn’t see the H9000’s USB I/O then that leads me to believe that you’ve selected the Apollo as Logic’s audio interface instead of the H9000+Apollo aggregate device.

Here’re the USB sections of the manual:

      https://cdn.eventideaudio.com/manuals/h9000/2.0/content/setup/usbsetup.html

      https://cdn.eventideaudio.com/manuals/h9000/2.0/content/setup/DAWLatencyCompensation.html

And here’s a video on using the H9000 with an Apollo: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V0zxHeCo_5M

Let me know if that helps.

Strangely, and without checking the links I reset the exact same setup and everything seems to be working fine. I am feeling much more confident, but probably need to establish a working template. Thanks!
