        We are happy to announce a new version of Emote/H9000 firmware.

        We are now releasing different firmware versions depending on what DSP modules you have installed. Certain features for future updates will be exclusive to the Gen2 DSP modules. Going forward, you will need to use a specific firmware version depending on which DSP modules are installed in your H9000:

        • H9000 Gen1 modules will use Firmware version 2.x
        • H9000 Gen2 modules will use Firmware version 3.x

        Please install Emote 3.1.6 and use that to update your H9000 firmware. If the firmware update is not available, please email support@eventideaudio.com for update assistance.

        H9000 Firmware 2.4.8 (Gen1) New Features:

        • New Algorithm: Valley – A modern reverb that pays homage to classic architectures while unlocking a depth that wasn’t possible until now.

        H9000 Firmware 3.2.4 (Gen2) New Features:

        This Gen2 release focuses on a new suite of Immersive Algorithms that can be found in the 9700 Bank using the browser window:

        • New Stereo Algorithm: Valley
        • New Quad Algorithms:
          • Quad Upmixer
          • MPI (MicroPitch Immersive) Quad
          • Valley Quad
        • New 5.1 Algorithms
          • 5.1 Upmixer
          • MPI (MicroPitch Immersive) 5.1
          • Valley 5.1
        • New 5.1.2 Algorithms
          • 5.1.2 Upmixer
          • MPI (MicroPitch Immersive) 5.1.2
        • New 7.1 Algorithms
          • 7.1 Upmixer
          • MPI (MicroPitch Immersive) 7.1
          • Valley 7.1
