      Hello,

I have a weird problem over here with my H8000FW. I use the dual analog configuration and I have the same preset loaded on both DSPs. All of a sudden the B processor got muted, LEDs showed activity but no sound. Reselecting a preset rectified this. After a while I got another mute in DSP B and a little later I got a "Hosttime out error for B – suggested power down".

This is frustrating, any ideas here?

      Regards,
      Yannis

This is a message that may be caused by a hardware fault or by a DSP crash.

If it is the second, it will tend to be associated with a particular (usually large) preset or presets. Is this the case here ?

      Hi Nick

thanks for the swift reply. Preset is a modified version of 3910, I opened it in VSig and it doesn't seem particularly big. Others are much bigger. It hasn't done it again, since I posted this.

It's not always the physical size, more the amount of dsp power it needs.

Hopefully, it won't do it again, but you'll be watching it ..
