      I need to know the proper proceedure in changing the battery in the Eclipse as to eleminate any problems that may appear such as lost of information, programs, or Gliches.  I realize the battery is the BR2330, just wanted everything to run smoothly.  Thanks….

      Strictly speaking, to preserve all the information, you will need to change the battery with the unit powered up. For obvious reasons, this is NOT  RECOMMENDED for anyone but a qualified technician. Either way, it would be at your own risk.

      Probably better to save the setup and user presets to a card (see UM), power the unit down, and reload. Mistakes would be unfortunate.
