      Hi –

I tired to install the routing utility on windows XP, but it won't start.  The error message

says, "This application has failed to start because the application configuration is incorrect."

      Thanks/

It probably means that you need some Microsoft files that are not included with XP. These are most likely MFC90.DLL and MSVCR90.DLL

Probably the easiest way to get these is from:

      http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=5582

      .

Okay, I can run the routing utility now.  But it refuses to connect to the H8000.  I can connect

with vsigfile.  I completely quit vsigfile, and then start the routing utility, but it won't connect.

      Thanks,

      Eric

If you haven't already, check the Comms Config under the system menu. You will certainly need to have every other PC application disconnected from the H8000.
