Hi, I’m looking for info about latency.

My main question is if there is any kind of latency compensation across the four FX chains, to keep them all the same, or if it is all dynamic, depending on what algos are loaded where, etc.

Apologies if I’ve missed this in the manual.

      Regards,

      Colin

      Hey Colin,

All of the latency information can be found here: https://cdn.eventideaudio.com/manuals/h9000/2.0/content/setup/DAWLatencyCompensation.html

The latency is dynamic for each FX Chain depending the algorithm routing. A simple way to keep the latency of the FX Chains fixed is by building your FX Chains from the bottom up. Once an algorithm is placed in the bottom slot, that will configure the FX Chain to use highest amount of latency (around 3.3 ms).

      Thanks, missed that.

OK so if we load all four slots of an FXchain with the heaviest algos, do we assume that it has 3.3ms + some algo latency?

Or is 3.3ms some kind of absolute maximum?

You’re welcome. 3.3ms will be the max latency of an FX Chain.

some movement on DAW mode in a future update as previously discussed would be helpful.
