        Is there a way to figure out the amount of samples/seconds of latency that is introduced while using the h8000 firewire routing? For instance I have downloaded the expert sleepers latency fixer, so if I can figure out the latency of my system I can eliminate the latency of my system while mixing.

           It's essentially a matter of the buffer size and the sample rate.

          For example: using 512 byte buffers at 96kHz will introduce an each-way delay of 512/96000 =  5.3mS.

          The internal processing in the H8000FW will add la few hundred microseconds beyond this – the buffer size is the determining factor.
