I was wondering if there is an existing H9000 EQ algo that would combine shelf filters as well as parametric bell filters (with Q) in one convenient package. The below is a description of LogicX Channel EQ, which also adds a fantastic color display of the resulting EQ graph. I can do away without the latter by actually using LogicX as a dummy visualiser, but I would need the algo. It doesn’t have to be exactly like Logic, but similar. It can obviously be done in VSig but maybe there is something close enough already?

      LogicX Channel EQ Description

is a versatile multiband EQ. It provides eight color-coded frequency bands as follows:
      Band 1: High-pass filter
      Band 2: Low-shelving filter
      Bands 3-6: Parametric bell filters
      Band 7: High-shelving filter
      Band 8: Low-pass filter

Closing this thread as little traction. Here is my workaround:

      1. Setup an FX Chain with the White Noise algo followed by EQ Compressor (9503). The latter has a built-in EQ with two shelf and two peak EQ filters, whihc is plenty.

      2. Send the output to DAW, I use Logic. Insert Logic EQ Channel, and at the lower left, select “Analyzer”.

Voila! You can see graphically the impact of the H9000 on the entire audio spectrum.

Hopefully useful for others. What would be awesome is an Emote window like the Meters window that does this to avoid the external DAW step, but I’m fine for now.
