      Hi,

If I use XLR ins and outs is it a true relay hardwire by pass?

I looked at the system signal flow chart and it does not look like it, but the manual implies it (relay switched).

My power amp (VHT 2502) only has 1/4 " unbalanced inputs so if it is not a true by pass which is better

      A. XLR to 1/4" or B. !/4' to 1/4" unbalanced

Note that the power amp has a input sensitivity switch.

      Thanks for your help.

      Yes.

Note that other input/output combinations do NOT have true relay bypass – it would need too many relays. But, you can make/buy a cable to go between XLR and 1/4" (see manual), which allows you to come in XLR and go out 1/4". This would be better than 1/4" everywhere.
