Routing Block Selections

Rookie question: are there basic expectations on the routing block selections trying to achieve specific effects?  I understand the options results would be subject to each one’s particular taste, but general routing for popular effects?

Probably not – I think the intention was to provide useful configurations: series, parallel, etc, rather than thinking of any specific sounds.

I believe the various options were intended to give some flexibility to users with different requirements, depending on source and destination, and whether either chsnnel affects the other.
