  I having trouble getting my H8000fw to connect to the routing utility. I have downloaded the latest drivers and 5.6 software.
  
  The midi device id is set to 1 and serial is enabled.
  
  Adat is ok firewire ok

  You give almost no information. Please initialize the H8000, and then describe in full detail:
  
  1) What you do
  
  2) What you see
  
  3) What you expect to see
