I am trying to configure my H9K to use scenes instead of FX chains so I can have MIDI controlled buttons to swap out reverb separately from effects like wah, phaser, etc. Unfortunately it seems that on reboot the H9K loads the scenes before it loads the presets, resulting in a “MISMATCH/NOT FOUND” error
The actions that use a built in algorithm work fine (like Thru -> FX1:2) but any of the ones with presets I’ve saved are broken. Is there any way to fix this?

Hello,
Thanks for reporting this. I can reproduce the issue on my end, and we’ll look into this.
As a work around, right-click and select “Capture Scene” this should allow you to recall Scenes that use custom presets.

Unfortunately “Capture Scene” doesn’t work because it loads FX Chains not algorithms. Do you think a fix for this would make it into the next update or will it be a while?

Sorry, I can’t provide a timeline for when it will be fixed but we’re looking into it.
I just tested this further, and if you manually map your Scene to load an algorithm preset using the front panel instead of Emote, it will work correctly. Can you try this and let me know what happens?

Good to hear! Thanks for reporting back.
Sorry for the inconvenience, but my best suggestion is to use this work around for now and I can let you know when this issue is fixed.

Very appreciative of the time you take to monitor these forums, respond to feedback and quickly resolve issues.
Now my MIDI control panel is up and running!

Just verified this happens with built in presets as well, doesn’t have to be a custom one.
