  this item seems to be the perfect serial cable for all Eventides using Vsig/Oupdate applications.
  
  We haven't tested it but given its cheap 5$ price tag, it's really worth the trying.

  It's a "straight through" wired cable, the one we recommend, vs. the null modem type which is cross-wired. For more details on the specs:
