Syncing H8000FW to ext Midiclock

I have read the section Tempo and the H8000 in the manual. I am able to sync the H8000 externally from BPM 40-300 – but I cant get it to sync between 30 and 40BPM . The H8000 will not go below 40BPM when synced to Midiclock .

What adjustment do Ineed to make?

There is a lower limit to the BPM that the unit will accept, probably 30 or 40. Similarly there is an upper limit, maybe around 300.

This is because it is assumed that tempos outside this range are not valid.

When I sync with H8000 as master it syncs my slave device as expected between 30-300BPM. But when the H8000 is slave it only syncs between 40-300. Perhaps a bug?

The input range is deliberately limited to avoid unlikely values. You may disagree with this, but it is not a bug.

You could argue that there is a minor inconsistency between the input and output ranges, but the output value does have to be explicitly set, whereas the input could be anything.
