         Hello, I'm using an
eclipse (version 3.00) and I have a song that is running with the internal
clock (world clock, I think). (i.e. always running at 131 bpm)

I would like to trig a
computer (to play with a wave file that will run at the same tempo) or trig a
metronome that my drummer can know the timing of the eclipse (to play live).

        Or maybe it is the
opposite? is the computer can trig my world clock and set my internal tempo??

The gear I have is either,
        motu mk3896 and/or a metronome DB-90.

         Thanks if you have
        any clue,

        Francois

          Hello Francois

You have to send a MIDI CLOCK from the computer sequencer to Eclipse. Then set Eclipse to receive tempo from midi. (setup->tempo->tap source->Midiclock)

DB-90 can only receive midiclock. If you want the click for the drummer, you have to sync that metronome to computer sequencer. Maybe a better way is to output the click also from a computer sequencer.

          All the Best, Daniel

ps. you should update Eclipse to the latest software version 3.51

             Hello Daniel!

Thanks very much for those information, I'll try it as soon as possible and see what is the best way of doing it. But, for sure your hints are great help for me!

For now, I try to understand how to send the clock by midi cable, since there is already a pedal board connected on my eclipse (midi bank selector). Actually, the complete setup is as follow: pedal board FCB1010, out is going to the the input of a triaxis and than, thru the eclipse.

I guess I can connect the computer in the pedal board and than the out/thru going to triaxis and thru eclipse… If you have any idea if this config is the rigth one, please let me know.

            Thanks again!

            Francois
