  Is there any way of reducing the clicking sounds when you reduce the tap amount on this effect?

  Assuming you mean changing the number of taps, the answer would be no. Changing the number of taps is a very major change to the effect and is unlikely to be silent – it's not something you usually do while playing.

  Probably not – it's the same issue. Major changes are not usually silent.
