Can the H9 Emulate the EHX Freeze Pedal?

Hi,

I’ve got the H9 pedal and was wondering which algorithm might be close to the Electro-Harmonix Freeze Sound Retainer Pedal.

The EHX Freeze pedal has the ability to freeze what is playing – so, for example, if you play a chord you can freeze that chord so that it continues to drone – while you noodle on top of the chord.

You can get there with most any of the reverb algorithms, and many of (what used to be known as) the H9-Special algos.  Each one brings a special ‘flavor’ to the table: added EQ, modulation, delays, etc.  So you have the options to make them more SuperEgo-like.

Hope to see a dedicated freeze algorithm on the H90. At some point an employee of Eventide fielded some questions regarding preferred feature set so I‘m still holding out hope…
